Summary

Our Explorer’s course is a great introduction to Mandarin. It covers all the basic concepts of the language and gives you a cultural understanding. We will introduce you the pronunciation system, which helps you to speak out Chinese words in day 1. There will be a section with in-depth practices in each lesson focusing on key and challenging elements of pronunciation. This will guide you to perfect your pronunciation step by step. You will also learn to make basic conversations such as to greet; talk about yourself and others (age, family, plan of the week); order food etc..

Entry Requirement

No previous knowledge required.

This course is suitable for absolute beginners and also for those who have learnt some Mandarin before and would like to refresh and consolidate.

Summary

The Beginner’s course will expand what you have learned on the Explorer’s course to a richer context. You will be able to talk about your daily activities, past and future events; give simple directions; have short conversations on topics such as weather, shopping and travelling.

After this course, you will be ready for the HSK 1 exam. Our teachers will provide practical exercises and tips to help you prepare for the exam effectively. If you follow our lessons closely, we can guarantee that you will achieve successful result in the exam.

Completion of Explorer’s course (or the equivalent) with at least 75 words vocabulary.

Summary

After grasping the basics, you will learn to talk about more complicated ideas such as express feeling and opinion. You will also learn to expand the topics in your daily life and talk about something like getting ill, how to spend holiday, travelling experience.

Completion of HSK 1 (or equivalent) and know at least 150 vocabulary.

Summary 

In this course, you will continue to develop your vocabulary base with a diverse range of lesson topics. You will find yourself developing some flexibility in the use of languages and be able to give more descriptive comments on objects, events and actions.

You will be ready for HSK 2 proficiency after this course.Our teachers will provide practical exercises and tips to help you prepare for the exam effectively. If you follow our lessons closely, we can guarantee that you will achieve successful result in the exam.

Completion of Elementary 1 or equivalent.

Introduction

By the end of this course you will understand simple action instructions and to respond accordingly. You will also know how to describe a person’s characteristics, make comparison and describe changes to personal life. You will learn how to express ‘if…then’, describe physical status and persuade other people in Mandarin. You will be able to use ‘ba’ structures and make longer and complex sentences by using new sentence connecting words. You will also be able to understand more about Chinese festivals and customs.

Completion of Elementary course (or the equivalent) with at least 300 words vocabulary
